World gettin' smaller/more familiar? Good thing for humankind...?
MOVIES MATTER, BIGTIME!... Portrayed characters even more. To my "fellow folk" in Hollywood/film industry. If it doesn't feel right to you? Don't let 'em talk you into it. Wayyyy too many portrayals out there where I KNOW the actor had to suppress how they really felt inside about what they were doing. A few deserve special thanks... for stuff they DID do that "helps".
Denzel Washington(for a BUNCH). Fred Williamson(Always strong and in charge). Carl Weathers(ACTION JACKSON needed a sequel), Billy Dee Williams(never not cool), Idris Elba(Even when flawed, intelligent and powerful as hell), Sidney Portier(Dignity and Class personified), Wesley Snipes(In control. Never Ever "weak" and/or "emasculated")...and of course Harry Lennix(as Adam Clayton Powell in KEEP THE FAITH, BABY! He checks all the boxes. See it...) to name a few.
Will wait to hear from others for the Women... and will think on and possibly grow this area of "IMAGES PORTRAYED MATTER--WORLD-WIDE" in future.

A BIT MORE COMPLEX AND EXTENDED--BUT "SIR CHARLES" SPEAKS TRUTH TO ONE OF THE "TOOLS" OF THE BASIC "SCHEME"... AW 4-3-21
"Man, I think most white people and Black people are
great people. I really believe that in my heart, but I think our system
is set up where our politicians, whether they’re Republicans or
Democrats, are designed to make us not like each other so they can keep
their grasp of money and power. They divide and conquer.
I
truly believe in my heart most white people and Black people are
awesome people, but we’re so stupid following our politicians, whether
they’re Republicans or Democrats, and their only job is, ‘Hey, let’s
make these people not like each other. We don’t live in their
neighborhoods, we all got money, let’s make the whites and Blacks not
like each other, let’s make rich people and poor people not like each
other, let’s scramble the middle class.' I truly believe that in my
heart.
...hard not to express an opinion on this one... so I won't try:
DAMMIT! PAY 'EM SOME OF THE IMMENSE PROFITS YOU MAKE OFF OF "THEIR"
TALENT AND HARD WORK. *even if it is set aside in a trust until they
